HOA and Condo Cases

Many homeowners contact Brevard Consumer Law Center for help with HOA and Condo disputes — things like board elections, maintenance assessments, or neighborhood enforcement actions. While these issues are important, our firm is currently not accepting new representation beyond select matters related to mobile-home park law or consumer-protection claims.

HOA cases often involve lengthy board politics, governing-document interpretation, and internal-community conflicts that can quickly become expensive for all sides. Our practice is focused on debt relief, mobile-home park resident protection, and consumer law — areas where we can deliver fast, cost-effective results for working families.

Vehicle Sales, Financing & Warranty Disputes

(Cars, Trucks, RVs, Boats, Campers)

Florida courts enforce what you sign. If your name is on the contract, the judge assumes you read and accepted every term — even the fine print. You can negotiate protections, but only before you sign.

Hidden Traps:

  • Arbitration clauses – You give up your right to sue in court and must use private arbitration (often slower and more expensive).
  • No attorney’s-fees clauses – Even if you win, you may not recover your fees, meaning you pay out of pocket.
  • Warranty/guaranty limits – “As-is” language, exclusions, and third-party service contracts often limit or delay repairs and still push you into arbitration.

Before You Sign A Contract

You can negotiate. If you see arbitration, draw a line through it and handwrite:

“In any lawsuit or claim, the prevailing party is entitled to reasonable attorney’s fees and costs.”
Initial the change and have the dealer do the same. If they refuse, walk away.

Our Focus

We focus on debt relief, mobile-home park law, bankruptcy and consumer protection from illegal debt collection — areas where the law meaningfully helps working families.
